THEY'RE CONVINCED

  • The Curvway Pro is built for more varied terrains and offers enhanced all-terrain capabilities. The Curvway Classic is more likely designed for urban commuting.

  • Yes, the Curvway Pro is also suitable for beginners thanks to its self-stability system from 5 km/h and its disc brake which makes driving easy and safe.

  • Of course. CURVWAY boards are as manoeuvrable as a bike, with the added benefit of no handlebars, making it easier to weave through traffic. They have a turning radius similar to a bike's and can, of course, go straight.

  • As with any sport, there is a risk of falling.

Keep in mind that your feet are not strapped in, so you can ride with or without foot straps. If you use foot straps, your feet remain free to exit at any time and won’t get stuck underneath. In most cases, this allows the rider to eject from the board if needed and land safely on their feet, much like a skateboard.

We strongly recommend always wearing a helmet (legally required outside of urban areas), as well as gloves and elbow pads. Knee pads are a bonus.

  • The only requirement to ride is the desire to get on board! For those familiar with board sports like snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, etc., just a few seconds will be enough. For beginners in these sports, around 10 minutes is all you need before you’re ready to go for a ride. 😁

  • Yes, the Curvway are IP64 certified, meaning they are resistant to dust and water splashes, making them suitable for use in wet conditions.

  • Is insurance required?
    - Yes. As the Curvway board is classified as a PLEV, road insurance is mandatory. We can offer advice.

Are the boards compliant with the Highway Code?
    - Yes, by design.

What to do in case of an accident?

    - Exactly the same as with a bicycle, moped, or any motorised vehicle.
For more details, please contact your insurer.

  • The Curvway comes with a 2-year guarantee

  • Yes, Curvway offers flexible financing options, allowing you to purchase the board in instalments with payment plans ranging from 12 to 60 months.
